Yep, the baby came. One day early for his scheduled c-section, it seems we have a little tyke who was in a hurry. He was born 7 lb, 4 oz, and 18 1/2 inches and we named him Dane Patrick after my father and my wife’s father.
The last 10 days have been a bit stressful to say the least, and not entirely because my wife and the baby spent half that time in the hospital. There are some issues, but I not quite ready to speak of them yet. Nonetheless, it is a happy occasion that was definitely needed to cheer up the family after the recent loss of my father-in-law.
